Cellular buckling in stiffened plates

An analytical model based on variational principles for a thin-walled stiffened plate subjected to axial compression is presented. A system of nonlinear differential and integral equations is derived and solved using numerical continuation. The results show that the system is susceptible to highly unstable local--global mode interaction after an initial instability is triggered. Moreover, snap-backs in the response showing sequential destabilization and restabilization, known as cellular buckling or snaking, arise. The analytical model is compared to static finite element models for joint conditions between the stiffener and the main plate that have significant rotational restraint. However, it is known from previous studies that the behaviour, where the same joint is insignificantly restrained rotationally, is captured better by an analytical approach than by standard finite element methods; the latter being unable to capture cellular buckling behaviour even though the phenomenon is clearly observed in laboratory experiments.Comment: 22 pages, 9 figures, 1 table, accepted for publication. It was concluded that the nurses were accountable to observe the condition of patients, care the patients, dokument the health of patients, maintain the safety of patients, deliver services in accordance with nursing service standards, professional standards, stndards operation procedures, and prevailing law and regulations. The patients must supply with true information, be honest about their health status, follow advices given by doctors and nurses, respect all regulation effective in the health service facilities, pay charges and fees for health service rendered to them and exercise their right after satisfying their obligtions

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran IPS Dengan Menggunakan Metode Diskusi Pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Inpres Laemanta

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah penerapan metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajar IPS di kelas IV SD Inpres Laemanta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas IV SD Inpres Laemanta dengan menggunakan metode diskusi. Jenis penelitian ini mengacu pada penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Adapun tahapan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini meliputi hasil belajar siswa, hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa diambil dari lembar observasi kegiatan guru dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tindakan siklus I diperoleh hasil observasi siswa dengan skor presentase yaitu 61,11% dengan kriteria kurang, kemudian hasil observasi aktivitas guru yang dengan skor presentase 62,5% dengan kriteria kurang. Selanjutnya pada hasil belajar siswa diperoleh siswa yang tuntas secara individu berjumlah 18 orang dari 25 siswa jumlah keseluruhan, sehingga diperoleh ketuntasan belajar klasikal 72% dan daya serap klasikal sebesar 65,6%. Pada tindakan siklus II diperoleh hasil observasi aktivitas siswa dengan skor persentase yaitu 80,56% dan kriteria baik, kemuidan hasil observasi aktivitas guru dengan skor persentase ialah 92,5% dan kriteria sangat baik. Selanjutnya ketuntasan belajar klasikal 88% dan daya serap klasikal 82,4%. Hal ini berarti pembelajaran pada siklus II telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan dengan daya serap klasikal minimal 65% dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal minimal 75%. Berdasarkan daya serap klasikal dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada kegiatan pembelajaran siklus II, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas IV di SD Inpres Laemanta

That the learning outcomes is an overview of the progress or development of students from the first to follow the educational program until the time they ended the educational program which he passes. So the study results can be seen after learners gain experience learning and behavioral changes. So with a change in the student after a learning experience and that's called learning outcomes. Someone students who have high motivation to learn, have the drive or desire to learn a subject, students who have the desire and drive to learn a subject guided by their needs. One needs are close to success in learning a subject is need for achievement. That students who have high motivation to learn, will be marked with a bold desire to compete and receive feedback and encouragement to always be responsible and goal attainment. Penerapan Metode Pangaliran Imaji (Image Streaming) Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Karangan Narasi Siswakelas X Smanegeri 7 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh metode imaji (imagestreaming) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi oleh siswakelas X SMA Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014. Populasipenelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Medan yang berjumlah280 orang yang terbagi ke dalam tujuh kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah40 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dan instrumen yangdigunakan adalah tes menulis karangan narasi dalam bentuk penugasan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan siswamenulis karangan narasi dengan menggunakan metode imaji (image streaming)adalah 75,25 dalam kategori baik, sedangkan nilai rata-rata kemampuan siswamenulis karangan narasi sebelum menggunakan metode imaji adalah 63,87 dalamkategori cukup.Perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh to= 2,02yang dikonsultasikan dengantabel t pada taraf signifikan 5% atau 1% dengan df = (N-1) = (40-1) = 39; padatabel t dengan dk = 39 diperoleh taraf signifikan 5% = 2,02 dan taraf signifikan1% = 2,02. Artinya toyang diperoleh lebih besar daripada ttabel, yaitu 7,29>2,02.Dengan demikian, Haditerima. Artinya metode imaji (image streaming)berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas X SMANegeri 7 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014

Prediksi Tingkat Kelancaran Pembayaran Kredit Bank Menggunakan Algoritma Naïve Bayes Berbasis Forward Selection

Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah Mengoptimalkan algoritma Naïve Bayes dengan seleksi fitur Forward Selection untuk dapat meningkatkan hasil akurasi atau tingkat keberhasilan yang didapatkan dari prediksi pembayaran kredit.Data yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari Bank XY yang berada di Gorontalo. Data yang diperoleh berkaitan dengan semua aspek dari nasabah kredit termasuk informasi pribadi dari nasabah. Desain eksperimen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dataset nasabah kredit.sedangkan analisi yang digunakan adalah Model algoritma Naïve Bayes dengan seleksi fitur Forward Selection. Prediksi tingkat kelancaran pembayaran kredit menggunakan algoritma Naïve Bayes berbasis Forward Selection mampu memprediksi kelancaran pembayaran kredit ke depannya hal ini terbukti dengan perolehan nilai akurasi Naive bayes berbasis Forward Selection mampu mencapai nilai akurasi 71,97 %
